Dendritic Limestone Slab Specimen

Surprisingly, these complex formations look like fossils, but they're actually made of dark Manganese minerals. Found between layers of stratified rocks and in Agate, the manganese oxide in limestone produces these unique, plant-like patterns. Gathered in Beaver, Utah, these extraordinary dendrites are all one-of-a-kind specimens.  Their beautiful pattern and coloring mimic a sunset.
