Believed to be from the Congo's Nyaragongo Volcano, andesine is a relatively new gemstone shrouded in mystery. This plagioclase feldspar - with its faint metallic schiller, or "labradorescence," and pleochroic color range - has a triclinic crystal system. It is a combination of albite (sodium aluminum silicate) and anorthite (calcium aluminum silicate), with andesine usually containing 50-70% albite. Labradorite, a similar gemstone, is reversed, having 50-70% anorthite and the rest albite. Originally sold without disclosure of color enhancement, much of the andesine on the market is mislabeled labradorite. Andesine has also been found in China, Mongolia, Tibet, South India and elsewhere, usually close to a volcano.  

Creamy to clear or somewhat light yellow in color, Montana Agate is whispered to be implanted with the diverse forms of moss. The structures of moss abundantly found in the tints of black, somewhat brown or reddish. Montana Agate extracted from the regions of the Yellowstone River along with its feeders. 

Andesine has metaphysically-similar properties to labradorite, and is believed to be similar to sunstone. It's associated with the heart chakra, promoting positivity and providing clarity of thought. Additionally, andesine is said to be a grounding stone helping to relieve stress and tension. It's not tied to any particular zodiac sign.
